NEW COURSES STARTING THIS JANUARY

Our Photography and New Media courses are recruiting now.
If you are interested in studying with us, then book your place quickly as courses are filling up.

We will be running the following classes this term:
* Creative Website Design 2. Wednesdays from 07.01.09
* Creative Website Design 1. Sundays from 11.01.09
* Intermediate Digital Photography. Day, Evening & Weekend classes available from 12.01.09
* Landscape Photography. Tuesdays from 13.01.09
* Photographing People. Tuesdays from 13.01.09
* Black and White Photography. Thursdays and Sundays from 15.01.09
* Introduction to Digital Video. Fridays from 16.01.09
* Documentary Photography. Saturdays from 17.01.09
* Introduction to Photography: Part One. Day, Evening & Weekend classes available from 14.01.09


All our courses are accredited by Cardiff University’s Centre for Lifelong Learning, a Foundation Certificate is awarded to those who gain 60 credits in their studies.A full Certificate of Higher Education is awarded to those who go on to study a total of 6 six courses, gaining 120 credits.

***Ffotogallery are also pleased to announce that from the 7th of February we will be running a Diploma of Higher Education Course. The course offers students who have completed their Certificate of Higher Education in Photography the opportunity to continue their studies at Diploma of Higher Education level.
The first module entitled 'Photography and Environment' explores critical issues and practices concerning representation of the environment, and broadly examines themes of place, location and identity. Practical exercises in photographing urban, natural, social and political environments are undertaken alongside a historical and contextual understanding of the different forms of photography such as portraiture, documentary, landscape and fine art practice. You will gain experience in a broad range of approaches and produce a stunning portfolio of images.
