Following a successful exhibition in Liverpool, JazzCakes bring their 100: POSTCARDS project to Cardiff.
One hundred artists from a diverse range of disciplines use the dimensions of a standard postcard to act as a vessel for thoughts and images based around the idea of communication, community and networks. http://www.jazzcakes.com

Redman’s Dinner for One acts as a stark reminder of the fine line between independence and isolation, ‘Doris is very old, and she is basically alone….this is a piece for Doris and all the lonely eaters in this world.’

One day workshop which gives you the opportunity to learn all the skills you need to make yourself something fabulous on your own sewing machines or on one of ours if you don't have one.

As part of our chainstitch project with Sustrans, we will be at the following events in June with our trusty
hand crank Singer sewing machines:
Saturday June 11th The Big Tea Party in the Park
A family event in Parc Gwilym, Clydach to celebrate the opening of the new walking and cycling route.
Sunday 26th June Garn Lakes Country Fayre
Sustrans will be guiding a family bike ride at Garn Lakes Country Fayre to the Big Pit and milkwood's sewing project will be at the Fayre
after the bike ride, come and join us and stitch your trip!
